I swear it was raining when we took this pic, though the sky certainly doesn't look that way. I never read the books about Anne of Green Gables, but I knew enough people who consider them special, so it was worth the extra 40 minute drive to go see the spot that was the inspiration. Of course the sites were closed, but the area is certainly gorgeous, and was my favorite part of the trip.
