Lune de miel
Did you know the french phrase for honeymoon is "lune de miel," or literally "moon of honey?" Sarah and I are having a blast in the Tremblant area, though I feel almost as tired as I did when we started! We were both so exhausted after our intense couple weeks of wedding prep that it's been great to sleep in have long naps. But we've also pushed ourselves pretty hard to take full advantage of this area. On Tuesday we took a 3 hour hike up the mountain, enjoying fantastic views and great conversation. Yesterday we did a package deal which included an 8km canoe trip, including a picnic, followed by an 18km bike ride. Needless to say, we're sore and pooped! We've just had another wonderful breakfast at our bed and bfast and are getting ready to head back to Montreal so we can get our UHAUL tomorrow and move to Gatineau (just outside of Ottawa). What an exciting time! I love you being married and am thrilled that I love Sarah even more now than I did on Saturday.

For Time and All Eternity
What a wonderful day!! Being married to Sarah in the Temple on Saturday was the highlight of my life so far. The top picture is of the moment we walked out of the Temple into the crowd of friends waiting for us (really felt more like paparrazi). The bottom picture is outside the temple during our wedding portraits. Like our shoes? Words can't describe the feelings I had, and I had hard time trying to get them out during the sharing of our vows that evening. I promised Sarah "un vie remplie de joi," and more than anything was overwhelmed by the gratitude and love I felt. I feel so incredibly grateful for the family I come from, the wonderful family I've married into, the friends and mentors that helped shaped my life, and especially to God for guiding my life and bringing Sarah to me. We're in St. Jovite right now on our honeymoon and I feel constant reassurance that this decision will fill me with joy for the rest of my life and beyond. As the inscription in our ring reminds us, because we were married by the restored priesthood authority in the Temple, our marriage will last for "time and all eternity."

Wedding prep
Sweep!
In the first time in 55 years, the Yanks won 5 games in a row at Fenway park in Boston. It was as good a weekend as it gets for a Yankee fan as the Yanks did everything right: blow out the sox, come from behind in one game, win the pitcher's duel. Now the Yanks are 6.5 games ahead of the Sox for the division championship, and the Sox are 4 games from even making the playoffs as the wild card team! It's not over yet, but that sure was a lot of fun.
